real talk

I wasn’t always this vibrant.

I spent the majority of my twenties worrying about calories, what other people thought of me, and how my body looked on the outside. I was striving for thinness over health, and it took a toll on both my body and mind.

Fast forward into my early 30s: I discovered bodywork and studied to become a massage therapist. I leaned into fitness and let my naturally muscular build do its thing. I started fueling that body with foods that made me feel strong and powerful in the gym and throughout my day (CARBS!). I got nerdy about nutrition science and earned my masters degree. I talked to a therapist about my mental health and started a meditation practice. I made some really amazing friends and decided to let some others go. I even got two dogs and a husband!

It took years, but I was able to achieve balance in all parts of my life by incorporating daily healthy habits into my routine. Not all at once, and nothing extreme - but baby steps that slowly but surely led me to my goals. I am by no means perfect, but now when I slip into poor habits I have the skills and knowledge to bring myself back to equilibrium.

I started coaching in 2018 and my hope is to help as many people as possible to achieve balance in their own lives. I specialize in nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep/recovery - and I’ve got some awesome friends on my side if my clients need more than that to get to where they need to be.
